Rehmat Kaur Oberoi is a student of grade 11 at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Gurugram. Besides continuing with her grandfather's legacy to always help those around him in any way possible, seeing the severity of COVID-19 and its devastation caused to innumerable families, accelerated Rehmat's urge to help those in need. The passing away of her beloved grandfather on 26th April 2021, further strengthened her resolve to carry forward his philanthropic efforts by creating this foundation. Through this endeavor, Rehmat plans to help by providing those in need of rudimentary rations, medicines, sanitization kits, cooked meals, etc.... not just during the pandemic but also carry on post-covid by helping those suffering from diabetes, various types of cancers, asthma, and many other ailments. We The Rehmat Foundation also hopes to encourage others to do so because we believe, "Your extra is someone's need."
